Rockman Revolution
New design projects coming to you from the year 20XX!
Summary
Rockman Revolution is a project dedicated to celebrating the Mega Man franchise with music mixes, reviews, playthroughs, and digital dashboards. Components include content relating to various sub series of the franchise such as Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force in addition to the mainline classic era games.

The largest components of the project include a feature length review of Mega Man 8, a music mix centered around music from the Battle Network series, and a multiplayer broadcasting dashboard that is modeled after the aesthetics of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. All of the components of this project can be viewed through the Rockman Revolution YouTube Playlist where Arcmaevotix is home to the original versions and Nehrpsyznet is home to the remade versions of those components.

Process
This project had one of the longest development cycles alongside Super Smash Bros Dreams and Technology Tours due to the extensive production of each of the components. The Mega Man 8 Review for instance required me to play through the game two times over (once for practice and another for capturing) and then manufacture a script from the remains of previous review drafts that had been abandoned a number of years prior.

After drafting up a new script and revising it, planning the sequencing for the actual review video itself took another week of work before actual editing began. Another component, the Rockman Arcade, took weeks of R&D that involved moodboard drafts, element curation, and wire-framing before any graphics and animations came into production. Some of the research included running Mega Man Anniversary Collection to study the UI / UX design and the visuals of the visuals used for the environment.

Reflection
Rockman Revolution was important in helping reinforce techniques that I had acquired from designing previous projects such as "F101 Hardcore" and "Let's Feel the Future" which were both quite involved with music and layout design. Exploring more complex animation patterns, building custom luma maps, and playing with new kinds of shaders was a challenging and engaging experience that made me feel more confident in pursuing more intricate projects such as Prisxane.
