Physics of Another Nature
It's time to feel the sounds of our world on a metaphysical level...
Summary
Physics of Another Nature is the first music album that I have released containing tracks of various genres such as Ambient, VGM, Liquid DnB, Breakbeat Hardcore, Lo-Fi Hip Hop, and a few more. The album is composed of tracks that were built over the course of several years and then compiled into a selection that is unified primarily by the production of later tracks. Conceptually, this album serves as a timeline of my journey so far with composing and re-arranging music and what techniques I have obtained over the years of exploring the world of sound. My experience with audio engineering and the science of sound, whether in be in building soundscapes or making listening music, has drastically changed as I have connected with other artists and gleaned from their perspectives on music. All of the components of this project can be viewed through the Physics of Another Nature YouTube Playlist where Arcmaevotix is home to the original versions and Nehrpsyznet is home to the remade versions.

Process
The creation of tracks for Physics of Another Nature began back in the late 2010s where I was beginning to step into the realm of music composition since seemed like the natural next step after learning the fundamentals of music mixing. This was around the same time that I picked back up playing the piano and looking into a wider selection of production software. Trackers and DAWs ranging from Renoise and Deflemask to LMMS and FL Studio became familiar faces in my toolbox as new ideas emerged along with new production techniques. My first few tracks were simple compositions made to mimic the ambient sounds of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. After exploring ambient music for awhile, I switched to creating more melodic tracks that were based on the style of retro JRPG music before gaining a larger interest in composing music in the vein of my favorite EDM genres such as Ambient Jungle, Breakbeat Hardcore, Garage House, etc. Over the next few years I composed and re-arranged tracks that eventually made their way into Physics of Another Nature. However, many of those tracks did not see their final version until after the final song in the album, Beyond the Echoes of Supernovas, was complete. This is largely due to the fact that the production of the later tracks in the album were made by me when I was much further along in my music production journey. This inspired me to go back and redo older tracks to bring them up to speed with my later creations and then compile all of those creations into a single ten track album.

Reflection
Physics of Another Nature taught me a lot about music production, audio engineering, and music theory. It is one of the biggest audio projects that I have ever constructed to date and it features a lot of graphic design pieces with the music that I have had in production since the early 2010s and never had the opportunity of publishing until now. This is because largely because I wanted those artifacts to have greater context and Physics of Another Nature was the perfect project to weave those smaller creations into as I slowly but surely matched visual concepts with musical ones to create an ethereal flight. Having the knowledge on hand to compose ambient soundscapes, traditional music, sound effect libraries, and anything else relating to audio, whether it be the manipulation or design of it, opened plenty of new avenues for creativity in other projects.
